Getting From A to D is a short stop-motion animation that explores a day in the life of a Type 1 diabetic.
The film follows our protaganist as they wind and weave through daily life. The set was built almost entirely from medical waste I have collected over the 7 years of living with the illness.
Made during the pandemic, in my final year of University, it was crafted, shot and edited in my little old room in Manchester. (I had abandoned London, a giant rat in my garden sent me over the edge)
Music for the film was composed by the very talented Nadia Kawafi - @kawafi on instagram.
